Sometimes great start ups or businesses are born in the walls of college dorm rooms. We both ended up in what’s become our longest relationship instead.
We’re a creative duo based in NYC and have worked as partners in advertising since studying at the School of Visual Arts. Our first ECD called us hair and face and the name kinda stuck.
While in school, we won some junk and worked as full time interns for Grey’s Activation & PR department where we helped create ideas for the National Parks Service & Pantene.
After graduating, Grey hired us as a creative team for Papa John’s & Ally Bank.
We created some of Papa John’s most famous work on social to date…
including an April fools stunt that ended up becoming a real product for sale a year later. Other notable highlights were the agencies first ever 360 videos, interactive social media livestreams, and a snapchat powered pizza box.
After Grey, we cut our teeth as freelancers at a handful of agencies like Barton Graf, Concept Farm, Horizon Media, and ended up at a tiny little agency with just 2 people called Bear in the Hall.
With our contributions, we grew the agency from 2 people to 15,
leading our teams to create award winning work and win pitches for ADT, Safelite, Bathfitter, 1-800-flowers, and Take Two Foods.
Some highlights include developing 145 year old ADT’s most effective work ever,
and the first campaign turned into NFTs for Tezos.
After 5 years, we were asked to be the creative leads of TBWA/Chiat/Day’s content department. We ended up piloting the agencies AI program, as well as leading IAT teams with our global platforms for Phillips Norelco, Sonicaire, and All Free Clear.
Along the way, we’ve moonlighted as freelance ACD’s for agencies like Berlin Cameron, VMLY&R, Jone Knowles Ritchie, Concept Farm, KAP Media, Eddy Alexander, and Experience-Interaction, creating work for Campari, Espolon, Long Branch, Wild Turkey, Virginia Tourism, Crowe among others.
Currently, we’re at Mojo Supermarket where in the last year we’ve worked on Facebook, launched The Truth Initiative’s new cessation program, and won pitches for TikTok’s social AOR & Pinterest Predicts.
